    I hope this is the right category.
    I like this program but so I can use this program I need this option, that I can send the customer the credit invoice (with the minus value invoice). For example: If the invoice value is 10eur. Now the customer cancel the order, then I can make the invoice with the final amount of -10eur. It's also good for me if I have to make this invoice manually and I write in to the notes the canceled order invoice number. But ideally, it could be like this: I chose an invoice. Inside the invoice are buttons "Create Credit Invoice" (Make the credit invoice for the whole invoice) and "Create Credit Invoice of Items" (Make the credit invoice for the selection of the products). Clicking on the button creates the new credit invoice and automatically adds the canceled order invoice number, on the new credit invoice. And the products added back in to the stock also.
    I hope it was understandable. My English is as it is. :)

    Client -> Customer Profile. The invoice list could be longer and not inside the box. I could also see if there is a valid credit contract with the customer. To what date is the contract valid? What's the credit limit and how much credit is available. This would be the very good extra.
    Stock. Stock could be informed if a product runs out. I could write a separate amount for each product to determine when the notification will be given. The notice could be seen on the dashboard.
    The database backup option.
    And the .xml file upload option.

    If I make an invoice, there should be the place where I can put the Purchase Order number.

    -> Stocks already notify admin by email when reorder point is reached. Please add examples.

    This is almost the current behaviour. What is difficult with credit note is that the initial invoice amount must be kept.
    So user paid 10€
    I refund 10€
    The app computes the 2 amounts and send 0 as final incomes.
    If only 1 or 2 items are refunded, the new invoice only shows this values and the app substracts them from turnover. Numbers are automatic because at the moment you are adding manually a invoice number, automatic invoices may be waiting or about to be generated. This can cause issues.
    So I will only add the minus near amounts for this request.

    CLIENT -> CUSTOMER PROFILE. I refine a bit: It would be good to see how many years/months/weeks/days does the contract available, before it expires. The contract info could be displayed on the dashboard if I want. And who does not want it can be turned off.
    STOCK. An exclamation mark or stock mark or something should appear on the top line (where is the language and user place) if needed. When you click on this mark the list will appear.

    I did not forget you. This was a long task to implement user roles and permissions. I will push this update and work on your request. Many guys are waiting and I don't have enough time to test.

  • Yes, I see. As I am also teacher, this is the worst moment. School year is ending... lot of job to grade and so on.
    I added template feature, so people can change themselves what they want in a custom theme folder. This is to prepare the App to handle all you want. Also added Sale Orders and other...

    I can then help people achieve what is useful for them without adding single person request in the main app. See this post

    another thing is the customer's account statement I do not see it could be added and the invoice templates and things that I would like to change since I'm from Rep.Dom and there are things that vary in our country

    Hi,
    I already added this feature for a client. Most of the time, you need a subscription to sms provider platform. I can then help integrating it.
    Can you post here what is required for invoice in your country ? The template 4 is easy to edit.

    Pas de souci de ce côté là. Il s'agira d'un nouveau répertoire. Vous pourrez donc déplacer vos modifications dans la nouvelle structure. Le système listera les dossiers à supprimer. Et vous serez invités à la faire quand vous serez prêts.

    Now when you add invoice, you will see global discount in %
    Like to see below global discount with fixed amount.
    Now the problem is that 1kg is € 35 but for friends € 30, in percent is this not possible to do.
    Or 1 product is 35 and you sell for 30
    So fixed discount of € 5 would be better.

    So now you can choose a discount percent or fixed amount not both.

    This is also better for taxes and dead, because you sell at 35€ and sombody else for 30€ for the same product.
    So Taxes can think why i dont sell at 35 instead 30. They dont know its my friend or family.
    This can causes problems later on.

    For this reason is dicount % and fixed discount better.

    2 - I noticed that counters (for example invoice #) goes up automatically. what about a feature to change/edit the latest issued invoice number?
  • playing with features and setup I found that the following would be nice implementations:

    1 - various tables such as clients, items, services, etc, should maintain the sorting and the # of items displayed.
    2 - in customer page, for italian users, another field like VAT should be available. when we sell to individuals, we must wrote their "Codice Fiscale". A 16 characters string, with letters and numbers.
    3 - also in customer page, there is room for just one website, I need more :)

    Thanks for posting here.
    1) This is indeed a nice feature to implement. I will add it next.
    2) In most countries, invoices table MUST use autoincrement number so that people may not be able to change or edit them. This is also to prevent duplicated data when invoice is cancelled, refunded etc. because all theses operation MUST not be deleted.

    1) I don't understand this point. Can you please explain more ?

    about the preview ok. however, an easiest way to customize invoices should be in place. I think it's too tricky at present, to manage the code the old-fashioned way ... :blush:
    I took a look into invoice templates directory and I found something like 10 different templates, how can I see them in production?

    about the renumbering: I'm aware of regulations. However, now I'm performing setup and I need to see every aspect of your plugin features, how you implemented them and understand what exactly I need to do when using mmanager in real-life. So, I have to create some fake invoices just to see how the process is handled, what I need to modify and translate and so on. Let's say, this should be just for testing purposes.

    about the tables: when on clients page for example, I want to keep 25 rows displayed forever. at present if I refresh the page, the # of items displayed returns to 10. the same happens when I click on top row to sort the table.

    about the "codice fiscale". is another field to be entered if customer is not a company. as I told you before is a 16chars string. usually, for companies the codice fiscale and VAT number are the same, but they must be printed on invoices both of them.

    about the number of websites, would be great if invoices, quotes etc, could display website jobs done.
    for example: service one, is related to website xyx.tld. service two to a different website of same customer.

    Thanks for all these inputs. In fact in place template edition can be great, but this will be lot of code :-) I added template_4 as a blueprint so that designers can use this for their changes.     So you don't need to explore many layouts, just add your changes on this template which is not overridden on update.

    - For items to display on tables, you can also manually edit option on /themes/darkblue/common/pages/scripts/datatable.js. I don't minify js code, to give freedom to anyone to change the App to fit their needs.
    - For italian company field, I will add it to the demo I set for you so that you can tell me if ok. Stay tuned. Will be done today.

    You can add note to invoices or add description to items. Maybe I don't understand this point.

    Italian codice fiscale is added. If you have time, please test here pro.mmanager.com
    => Set store location to Italy to enable this feature
    => Only available on custom layout pdf

    I tried to access pro.mmanager.com but is not yet reachable.
    I took a look into the tpl_4 but I don't like that layout, I modified laoyut1, but still needs improvements... :)

    well, it's ok, however, this field should be placed near the basic information, because it's a mandatory information when customer is not a company.
